| Orders |
Orders can be placed by mail, fax, telephone or e-mail. They must include an order number, the exact product model, its description, the name (written in full) of the person signing the order, his or her function, and his or her telephone number to enable us to make such requests for further details as may be necessary. If you write to confirm an order that has already been recorded, please note “CONFIRMATION OF ORDER”. All orders for delivery outside Metropolitan France must be prepaid. Confirmation of Receipt of Order is forwarded to you by fax only; it must returned to us, signed by a person empowered to sign on behalf of the company. The minimum order amount that we accept is € 45 excl of VAT. You can download the order form here. Do not add VAT to your order, unless delivery has to be done in France . Unless specifically stated otherwise, the soft-ware packages are in English, including online help, where it is available. |
| Delivery and Transport Costs |
All orders are the object of Confirmation of Receipt of Order, with the delivery lead times. The usual lead time is 72 hours to 15 days. Delay in delivery cannot justify a cancellation of order or any penalties. The delivery lead times shown on the Confirmation of Receipt of Order are given on the basis of acceptance by return of fax within 24 hours. We make partial deliveries, unless the customer states otherwise in the order. Prepaid orders for an amount of € 300 or over excl. VAT, are delivered CARRIAGE PAID in EEC countries. An inclusive fee of € 45 excl of VAT for packaging, carriage and insurance is charged for all orders of less than € 300 excl of VAT. A further fee of € 42 excl of VAT is charged for orders with a unit weight of 20 kg or over, and for goods sent with Cash on Delivery. The costs of “Express” deliveries are invoiced over and above these amounts. |
| Payment |
Payment is made by cheque (EEC banks only) or by bank transfer only, under the agreed conditions and without discount. Orders are payable prior to delivery or sent with Cash on Delivery, without discount. Money orders are accepted in the case of public and quasi-public organizations subject to agreement. Any late payment leads to invoicing of interest calculated automatically at the legal rate in France of 2% per month. | Prices, Discounts and Conditions, Returned Goods |
The prices shown are Excl of VAT and Net. Discounts can be granted for quantities; tell us what you need. We forward confirmation of receipt of your orders within 24 hours, and all orders thus confirmed are delivered at the price shown. Check the packages carefully on receipt, and express reservations to the transport company immediately if necessary. A 20% charge is made on all goods returned, if they correspond to an order delivered correctly, to cover the costs of handling and returning the goods to stock; all such returns must be requested within 2 days of receipt. The equipment in question must be standard and absolutely new in its original packaging, and the return carriage must be paid by the customer. Calibration certificates are not returnable. If the goods supplied are not suitable for the customer, due to non-conformity with the order, missing elements, or other problems, all complaints must reach us within 48 hours as from the date of receipt of the goods, and before any use is made of the equipment. No com-plaints notified after this period are taken into account. All returns must be made under an acceptance number given by AllCaT. |
| Guarantee |
All our instruments are guaranteed for 12 months as from the date of delivery, except for the consequences of normal wear and tear on parts, negligence, incorrect installation or misuse. The guarantee does not cover spare parts or parts considered as consumables in the profession, such as batteries, electrodes, cells, thermocouples, fuses, etc. The costs of carriage must be borne by the customer. After these 12 months, AllCaT can provide repair services for you, and it will forward an estimate to you prior to carrying out the work. AllCaT has at its disposal a calibration department whose procedures have been certified in accordance with BS EN ISO 9000 and equipment covered by a COFRAC traceability system. |

| Reservation of Title Clause |
